Reporting from San Francisco at Bernina University

Reporting live from San Francisco – it’s Bernina University!

The first day included Joan Rivers whipping the crowd into a frenzy while Paul Ashcroft, Bernina USA president, and Claude Dreyer, Bernina Steckborn CEO, introduced the following new products:

A new 560 Bernina with optional Embroidery capabilities and new 350 limited-edition machines (remember the Dragonfly?) were also introduced and will start showing up soon.

Next we’ll report on a new 880 Bernina, and how about a 16-needle Bernina professional embroidery machine that’s being made in the USA?

Bernina is also introducing a new serger line that includes auto-threading, needle-up and needle-down, a real genuine Bernina foot controller like their regular machines, and the third hand system.

A new Bernette sewing & embroidery machine, called the Chicago 7, that will be introduced soon for $999 that looks like a winner, too.
