Hand Embroidery by Machine

One of the greatest joys of a new sewing machine is learning to bend it to your will! Make some progress toward that goal by trying out a nifty table-topper project designed to teach you how to use machine stitches to simulate hand embroidery.

Pumpkin Table Topper

Pumpkin Table Topper by Cherry Guidry

Bernina Ambassador Cherry Guidry created her Pumpkin Table Topper project for We All Sew, and you can find it here. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the supply list to find the downloadable PDF pattern file.

Cherry used her fabulous Bernina 880 machine to create this project, but it can be made with any sewing machine that has a few decorative stitches.

Stop by and we’ll help you coordinate fabric and thread for your new table topper.
