Scott Noble: Owner
"To be able to operate a successful business while at the same time helping people is just about the best way to spend one's life." Scott explains his personal philosophy as it applies to near 30 years success story of SewVac Ltd. This owner/operator's deep commitment to being, selling, and doing the best for his community is hard to miss. Just step into the store and see for yourself. With a B.S. degree from San Diego State University after attending all previous schools in Long Beach, Scott took his education (degree in Radio/Telecommunications and Film) and linked it to retail sales, first at Singer and then to his current business. When not in the store, Scott spends time with his wife, sons, and grandsons. "Didn't know how to make girls so I guess had to go into this business to find the girls," he replies. A known public speaker, published writer, and sometime fisherman, Scott says his true attribute is being able to surround himself with a great staff and having fun, every day in his store.

Joyce: Store Manager
When she's not tending to her beautiful family of two girls and two boys, her church activities, or when she's not helping out with the local Little League along with her husband, "coach" Urban, she is working very hard at providing you with a perfect appliance match for your needs. Joyce has a knack in being able to guide the customer to the right product. She has an innovative way of listening to what the customer says. "I had such a pleasant experience buying my new serger from Joyce," a recent customer said. "She didn't just come out and say she already knew what I needed. Instead, she let me find it out for myself. By simply asking the right question, she let me tell her what I needed." A refreshing statement in a time where "Hurry up and Buy," has become the standard in retailing. Joyce's knowledge about our sewing, vacuum, and appliance products can take you through the finer points of selecting the right product for you. "I enjoy people, sewing, cooking, and selling!". You'll love Joyce.

In the Office. . .

Caroline: Office Manager
If you need an invoice, PO, account, or any other number talk to Caroline. Even while using the adding machine she can find the right papers, or anything else, you might need! She's not bad at answering general questions either. Caroline makes sure we can open the doors each day and she fights hard to keep us from becoming a non-profit organization. Oh, come on now; we need to make a little profit once in a while! Caroline sees that we can accomplish that and still provide you with your dollar's worth. If it's money questions, see Caroline the "money lady."

Terry: Head Sewing Machine Technician
Terry's talents are vast. He is an accomplished "computer nerd," fine carpenter, and a great sewing machine mechanic. Scott says he only has one problem with Terry. "I have to literally pull a machine away from him because he won't be done with it until it's perfect." Such a problem! Terry graciously answers any and all questions related to the care and maintenance of your sewing machine, the integration and updating of software to hardware compatibility and, in short, will make all your machine problems go away. "I can't believe its the same machine!" states Ms. Ida Beechum. "I've had this Pfaff (model 1221) for over 25 years and it never worked this well." Currently, Terry is certified to repair all Bernina, Pfaff, Elna, and Viking products as well as servicing several other dealers "hard to fix" sewing and serging products of all brands.
